Another great article out of the Dallas Morning News. This one is by Jason Darr, and it originated as a post on his Facebook page. It's a letter to those folks, seemingly good and decent before the election, who voted for Trump despite his racist Nazi threats.
The Letter From Jason summarizes the view of many who cannot understand why otherwise good-hearted, seemingly intelligent, often college-educated people could actually vote for Trump. Even if they did "hold their nose".
We don't have the answers yet, only the questions. The burden to explain their vote rests on those who voted for Trump. The burden to ask the questions - - - indeed, the patriotic duty to do so - - - rests squarely on our shoulders.
Reading this letter may help you address those in your social circle who pulled the inexplicable lever on Election Day. Or you can just link or print the letter verbatim and send it directly to the Trumpist in question.
