CLINTON'S "LOSS-BY-WINNING" MARGIN WAS THE LARGEST IN AMERICAN PRESIDENTIAL HISTORY

Let's assume for a moment that the Presidential Election truly is "over". For the sake of discussion, let's say there will be no more vote-total changes, either as a result of recounts or just simply finishing the first count the first time, a task that seems to take longer every four years.

If the current numbers hold, Hillary Clinton's popular-vote-total victory will be the greatest winning margin of any presidential candidate who did not "win" the Electoral College. And the numbers aren't even close.

By now, everybody from Alabama to Algeria must know that the United States Presidential Election system includes the Electoral College, though for no apparently good reason. Seems like the founding fathers got a little too involved with "process" in that part of the Constitution, creating a side-winding filter for voter intent that was none too democratic.

And there's more to be said about the Electoral College, most notably, that the "electors" can vote for anybody they want to for President, and it would be an example of FOLLOWING THE LAW AS WRITTEN IN THE CONSTITUTION. For now, though, let's just look at some stats to put things in perspective.

There have been five cases of a presidential candidate winning the popular vote, but losing the election in the Electoral College. Two of those five cases have occurred in the last five election cycles. The five "winners-who-lost" - - - ALL DEMOCRATS - - - are listed here:

  • 1824 - Andrew Jackson lost after winning by 38,000 votes
  • 1888 - Grover Cleveland lost after winning by 94,000 votes
  • 1876 - Samuel Tilden lost after winning by 252,000 votes
  • 2000 - Al Gore lost after winning by 543,000 votes
  • 2016 - Hillary Clinton lost after winning by 2,300,000 votes (still counting votes)

You can see that the list above is not quite in chronological order; rather it is listed in order of the vote-margin in each election. A quick glance shows that Clinton is the biggest-ever WINNER WHO WAS NOT GIVEN THE VICTORY in the history of United States Presidential Elections.

We point this out to help clarify "why all the fuss" right now.
This is an unprecedented result in our national history.
Clinton's vote margin is the largest win to be
curtailed by electoral vote-counting.

So people have "had it up to here"
with the Electoral College.

Numerically speaking, Hillary Clinton had a bigger "win" than Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses Grant, Richard Nixon, John Kennedy, Woodrow Wilson, William Taft, Jimmy Carter, and 15 other former Presidents. So it's natural for many people to feel like she won the election. Since she did. By popular vote.

The United States Constitution allows electors in the Electoral College process to vote for whomever they see fit to hold the office. Like it or not, the EC grants those several hundred individuals the legal right to select the next President, by whatever criteria they would like to use.

So it's perfectly legal and "constitutionally in-tune" for Americans to try to convince electors in the Electoral College process to vote for a non-Trump candidate. And if they do so in sufficient numbers to block a Trump Presidency, it would be a result for which the Founding Fathers paved the way.

THIS IS NO TIME TO BE GIVING TRUMP "A CHANCE"

We've talked about anti-Trump protests and we've predicted they will continue. We've talked about when and where we think the next ultra-large movements will take place. We believe that it makes sense to protest, and to resist, as the only rational and patriotic response to what's going on.

The Trumpologists have said, "Get over it, give him a chance" and other such non-sequitors. For the record, we DID give him a chance, and in less than a month The Trumpkin has proven that there is nothing new under his sun, and the same old baloney will continue forthcoming into the future. So it's basically time to start grinding on the gears.

Today we feature a post from another blogger that summarizes where we are right now. Her name is Melissa, and her web site is "An Unfit Parent". She wrote a piece that went viral to tens of thousands of readers in the blogosphere. She has approved sharing of her article, so we include it below, word for word (slightly re-formatted from the original).

==========

Donald Trump won the electoral college and as such is the President-Elect of the United States of America. Nearly instantly, almost anyone who didn’t vote for him was incensed, saddened, and/or frightened. And anyone who did vote for him took to social media with one message for them……“Get over it.”

7 years and 10 months ago today, Obama was sworn in as the President of the United States for the first time. For 2863 days, as he has been President, I have listened to lies and garbage from people who did not vote for him and did not want him as President, many of them the same people who voted for Trump.
You want me to “get over it” when for
the better part of the last 8 years you didn’t?
Or couldn’t? Or just wouldn’t?

For the last 8 years:
  • You spent 5 years questioning his place of birth, acting as though there was a question when it was well established fact. You supported a sheriff (mine) and a candidate (yours) who sent teams of people to Hawaii and claimed “they cannot believe what they are finding.” What they found was nothing.
  • You defended the First Amendment rights of people who shot at photos of Obama or lynched and burned him in effigy, but deride the Trump protesters as whiny crybabies.
  • You complained that he has no experience in governing because he was “only” a one term senator and referred to him as a “community organizer.” Then you voted for someone who has no idea what he is doing and claimed that was a good thing.
  • You claimed Obama was not a Christian at all and was actually a secret Muslim, over and over and over again. In fact, you are still claiming it while voting for a man who has stated he has never asked for forgiveness of his sins because he doesn’t need forgiveness.
  • You screamed every minute of every day that Obama was going to take your guns, my guns, all the guns. No guns have been taken.
  • You said horrible things about his wife and children and marriage, going so far as to claim Michelle Obama is a man, while voting for someone with 5 kids from 3 different wives who cheated his way out of every marriage.
  • You claimed none of it had to do with race while people simultaneously fill twitter and facebook with tweets and memes using the word n****r. Then you vote for a candidate that was endorsed by the Neo-Nazis and the KKK.
  • You have wailed and gnashed your teeth the entire time because the country is “heading in the wrong direction!” And yet-
*The unemployment rate has been cut nearly in half from 9.3% to 4.9%
*Violent crime has dropped 16% and homicides dropped 13%
*Jobs are up by 9.3 million and long term unemployment is down by 600k
*US crude production is up by 87% and petroleum imports are down by 62%
*Corporate profits are up by 166%, the S&P is up 139%
*The Dow 106% and the Nasdaq up 222%

Then you told me to not to listen to anything Trump has said, because that doesn’t matter and he doesn’t mean that, but rather wait and see what he does.
  • He named a known and admitted alt-right white supremacist as his Chief Strategist.
  • He either actually didn’t know about the hate crimes committed after the election and had to be told by Lesley Stahl or he lied about not knowing because he didn’t want to deal with it. I can’t decide which is worse.
  • He has refused to put his investments in a blind trust, instead insisting his kids will run his businesses.
  • He then appointed his kids to his transition team.
  • Then he took his daughter and son-in-law into a meeting with the Japanese Prime Minister. With no security clearance. And they are supposed to be running the “blind trust.”
  • He appointed for Attorney General, a man who was deemed too racist to be a judge in the 1980’s.
  • He has chosen a VP who believes gay people should change their sexual orientation through therapy and then complains when a theatre cast containing black and gay members try to send him a message about inclusion.
  • He jumped back into twitter by telling a complete lie about the letter from the editor of the New York Times, claiming they “apologized” when no such thing happened.
  • He tweeted that the New York Times was losing thousands of subscribers when they have actually increased subscribers at a rate four times higher than normal since the election.
  • He tweeted that there were “professional protesters” who were being “very unfair” like some petulant 6-year-old. Professional protesters do not exist and he was just perpetuating a ridiculous conspiracy theory that he either doesn’t care is wrong (scary) or doesn’t know is wrong (more scary.)
  • He falsely took credit (again on twitter) for keeping a Ford plant in Kentucky when, according to the President of Ford, they were never going to move, close, or even reduce production at that plant. They were considering moving production of one car away, but ramping up production on others, but no jobs were ever in danger there, because the union has a contract protecting workers until at least 2019.
  • He has appointed people to his transition team who want to register all Muslims and claim the internment of Japanese people as legal precedent.
And it has only been 11 days people. 11 days. I have listened to your shit for 2863 days and I never said “you lost, get over it” despite the number of times I thought it.

So, near as I can figure, I have 2852 days to say and do whatever I want in regard to Trump before I break even with you, let alone surpass you. So when you tell me to get over it, I have just one response for you….
NO!

I will not listen as you try to shame me into doing
something you would never do.

As you try to convince me that I need to respect the “office” if I don’t respect the man,
even though you never did.

When you say that I need to come together for “unity” when
you refused for eight years to even consider it.

When you say that “his success is my success” when
you have denied every Obama success even happened.

I am not going to get over it.
As a matter of fact,
I haven’t even gotten started yet.

TRUMP COUNTS KLANSMEN & NAZIS AS FRIENDS

Time to give Wolf Blitzer credit where credit is due. He is one member of the commercial media that found a key angle to make the point that tens of millions of Americans have been riled about all year. It's the threat that Don Trump poses to abuse, imprison, and/or murder innocent people who are part of racial and religious minority groups, ala Adolf Hitler.

The Trumpologists say those claims are crazy and unfounded, that nothing like that is actually on the agenda beginning in 2017. But what does Trump say? Not much. Just a few words scattered here and there over the past several months, and only when strongly pushed on the subject.

According to press releases from the Trump campaign, the presumed-president-elect "disavows" the so-called Alt-Right. A tweet or two says he doesn't know David Duke. The occasional comment by the Don himself have only lightly brushed the topic aside.

But there has been no clear and comprehensive rebuke of the Ku Klux Klan, or the Nazis, along the same lines as dozens of other topics (and people) that have been roundly pounded by the son of a Klansman. And that's what Wolf Blitzer exposed last week.

This is an uncommon example of a long-time veteran of the mainstream media actually UNCOVERING A KEY ANGLE with which to view the current news. It seems more typical these days for new perspectives to come from the less traditional news-sources, and to be "picked up by" mainstream media. CNN reports on the story here. The Huffington Post has the story here. And Media Matters has their version here.

Wolf Blitzer has made the
most important point of the election to date.

We can all see Trump getting riled-up,
almost out-of-control at times, over certain things.

But not over this thing.

TRUMP DOES NOT SEEM TO BE BOTHERED
BY THE NAZIS OR THE KLAN.

Consider some of the many other things that seem more important to Trump that rebuking the Klan and the Nazis. Here are some of the topics of his most famous "twitter wars":

This list could go on and on and on and on. Like the "Energizer Bunny", when Trump really cares about a subject - - - when he feels it - - - he racks up the twitter feed and rolls out the tweets ad infinitum. Consider his hundreds of twitter wars with the media, as summarized here by Bloomberg. There have been so many twitter wars triggered by Trump that the New York Times summed-up the 282 people, places, and things that Trump has taken on, just since he declared his campaign for the presidency.

If Don Trump wanted to make his views about the Klan
and the Nazis well-known, he would have
"taken them on" via Twitter by now.

The fact that he has not, as pointed out by Wolf Blitzer,
proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is not bothered by,
or offended by, the various elements of the so-called "Alt-Right".

EVEN THE IRISH UNDERSTAND THE TRUMP THREAT

The 2016 Election exposed the lunatic fringe in the United States, as Trump's apparent election has caused Nazis and Skinheads across the country to jump for joy. The freaks of American society who love Trump so much are a big problem, but not necessarily a big surprise. The shocking part about what happened on November 8 is that otherwise normal, seemingly intelligent people actually voted for Trump.

How can that be so? Trump clearly telegraphed every disgusting aspect of his pathetic personality, and despite getting a bunch of support from the mainstream media, much of his professional misconduct was exposed as well. If nothing else, just a few minutes of any Trump speech showed what a callous, crude, lowbrow, arrogant, narcissistic, sexist, xenophobic, fear-mongering, ignorant, incurious, vindictive, self-absorbed megalomaniac he truly is.

So how could any intelligent, educated American
voter choose Trump on Election Day?

There are no easy answers to that question. Okay, there is an easy answer; all of those Trump-voters are actually blithering idiots, bent on self-destruction. That may actually be true.

But people who live in other places could size this one up accurately, including a Senator from Ireland, Aodhan O Riordain. Watch the video clip below for an incisive commentary on America's "Pubic Enemy Number One":

Have you already seen this speech? Probably not, as the mainstream media in the USA does not value such a statement as (commercially) "news-worthy". There have been many reports on the Irish Senator, like this one, and like this one. But only one report can be found from a legitimate American source.

The question remains: How could so many people worldwide have such a clear perspective of the Abominable Showman, yet more than 60-million Americans voted for Trumpism?

SIXTEEN CONSECUTIVE DAYS OF ANTI-TRUMP PROTESTS - - - A NEW AMERICAN RECORD

Thanksgiving Day appears to have been the first day since the election without a specific "Anti-Trump Protest" in our country. The first wave of civil discontent appeared late on Election Day on the west coast, and continued on a daily basis across the USA until Wednesday.

Not that protests haven't occurred this holiday weekend, but many events are now being described with a specific focal-point other than Trump. They appear to be "spin-offs" from the main show.

The mainstream media basically stopped covering the anti-Trump protest movement after only a few days, but the events continued until November 23. That makes 16 consecutive days, a new American record for openly-expressed public dislike for an incoming President.

Never in our history have anti-President protests started so soon, on Election Eve, much less carried on daily for more than two weeks.

Watch for the multiple media reports that "the protests have stopped" or that "anti-Trump movement is losing steam" or similar claims. This could not be further from the truth.

The anti-Trump movement is actually GAINING STRENGTH as multiple political factions are coming together under the realization that, indeed, Americans are STRONGER TOGETHER than we are apart.

No estimates have been offered on the total number of street protesters against Trump this month, but I will give an educated guess that between 500,000 and 1,000,000 people were in public since the election, marching in the street, carrying signs, or picketing a specific location. That's a lot of people.

But the really big anti-Trump protests are yet to come.

December and January will bring the largest anti-new-president demonstrations in the history of the world:
  • December - Trump "Victory Tour":  Trump already misses the adoring masses from his ugly campaign, and he wants to stay in the limelight. So his team is organizing a series of rallies in states that he "won" over the next few weeks. We wrote about his plans here. This tour will include specific date/time/location information that allows Americans a great opportunity to show up with a purpose.
  • January - Trump Inauguration Ceremonies:  Multiple protests are in the organizational phase for Inauguration Day, on January 20. The previous records for anti-new-president demonstrations were 60,000 against the second President Bush, and 20,000 against President Nixon. Forecasts call for many times those numbers of people to stand up against the Trumps.
  • January - First Day of Presidency:  The "Million-Woman March" has been planned for the day after the inauguration, otherwise known as the "first day in office". Satellite locations for this effort have been identified in the midwest and western parts of the USA, but there is a seriously strong chance that a full ONE MILLION WOMEN will be surrounding the White House on January 21.
So the anti-Trump movement has gotten off to a rip-roaring start, putting Americans in great position to oppose Trumpists and their Nazi associates every day until Trump leaves office, by whatever means necessary.

TELL YOUR TRUMP-VOTING RELATIVES EXACTLY WHO - - - AND WHAT - - - THEY JUST VOTED FOR

Disruptions to the traditional Thanksgiving Day are sweeping across these United States, as Americans and Trumpists are coming together for the first time since Election Day. Citizens are faced with family members who openly support Donald Trump, sitting across from them at the holiday table, with only the turkey and stuffing to keep them apart.

Some may say this is what always happens, every four years in our country, so this holiday season is no different from 2012, 2008, 2004, and so on. But for many people of conscience, the stark contrast between and Trump vote and a Clinton vote may be too much to keep under wraps.

Millions of Americans face a moral question:
SHOULD I SPEAK UP TO MY RELATIVES?

We all know the prices to be paid for such an honest presentation. There will be raised tempers, name-calling, and a lot of ruffled-edges to the Thanksgiving Dinner tradition. But what may be the price of NOT speaking up?

If you think this Election was "not normal",
and that the results have unusually powerful consequences,
you should lean on the First Amendment and speak your piece.

TRUMP VOTERS MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR VOTE. They are thrilled to see the Abominable Showman heading to the White (Supremacist) House, happy with their choice, and sitting on the edges of their seats waiting to see what happens next in this great TELEVISION SHOW, oops, er, I mean NATION.

If you press their noses to the window of what just happened, and it turns out they were right, and there is no massive threat forming on our horizon, then the discussions you had will gradually settle into the dustbins of history. You can feel free to apologize, blaming your outbursts on gas pains. Everybody will be able to laugh about it later.

BUT, and this is a big-league BUT: If the threats posed by Trump begin to move into place, your frank and open statements to your relatives at the Thanksgiving Holiday MAY sensitize them enough to what's happening around them that they can join the resistance movements that are so crucial to saving the United States of American, and indeed, the Planet Earth.

Here's are some "Cliff Notes" to get you started. These are some of the many things that all Trump voters supported on Election Day:
  • Sexual harassment of girls and women
  • Denial of reproductive rights to women
  • Millions of Americans to lose health insurance
  • Violations of the United States Constitution by the government
  • Military incursions by Russia against our international allies
  • Unwarranted military actions by our country
  • Continued sluggish economy with slow job growth
  • Lower wages for hourly workers
  • Rise of the Ku Klux Klan
  • Increase in "Hate Crimes"
  • Higher costs for higher education
  • The news media should be put under government controls
  • Climate Change will be officially ignored by the USA
  • Racial minority groups will be persecuted by citizens
  • Racial minority groups will be persecuted by the government
  • LBGTQ Americans will be persecuted by citizens
  • LBGTQ Americans will be persecuted by the government

As Americans, we all need to step out of our family comfort zones and take a risk for the benefit of American Families everywhere. Voting the right way was a first step, but now we need to do more.

PLEASE CONFRONT TRUMP-VOTERS WITH
THE REALITIES OF WHAT THEY HAVE EMPOWERED
DONALD TRUMP AND HIS NAZI SUPPORT GROUPS
TO DO AGAINST MILLIONS OF AMERICANS.

THE TIME IS NOW.

THE KU KLUX KLAN MARCHES ARE COMING SOON TO AN AMERICAN NEIGHBORHOOD NEAR YOU

10 days to the next Klan March

The Ku Klux Klan openly endorsed Donald Trump for President, and yet more than 60-million people still voted for him. Donald Trump has energized the Klan throughout his campaign, and thrilled them with his election. The KKK has announced plans for a celebratory march to be held on Saturday, December 3 in Pelham, North Carolina.

America's Original Terrorists have not been so openly excited about a presidential candidate in several generations. Thanks to Donald, we have to prepare to fight the Ku Klux Klan - - - AGAIN. Several decades of level-headed leadership from both major political parties have gradually diminished the role and status of the Klan, with national membership estimates at 10,000 or below since last century.

But Trump put out the call for racists of all persuasions, as long as they are Caucasians, and they've been using up all of their old cans of spray paint since November 8. Plenty of backwards swastikas for all to see.

The Bible says, "Know thine enemy", or something like that, but it all comes out the same: TIME TO SCOUT THE KKK.

TRUMP WAS RAISED IN A KU KLUX KLAN FAMILY

The election of Donald Trump marks the first time in American political history that a member of the Ku Klux Klan became President.

Wait a minute, I know what you're saying:
"Hold on there! There is no proof that
Donald Trump is a member of the KKK!"

To which I would say, it depends on the definition of "proof".
There is certainly EVIDENCE.

The Klan is a secret society, meaning that there is no way to prove the membership of just about anybody in their group. Only the most prominent Klan members are identified publicly, while most operate in the shadows of the public eye. So we can not definitively identify the individual membership of 95% of this group, yet we can prove the existence of the group itself.

The prime recruiting ground for members of the KKK is genetically based. In other words, the most likely attribute of a Klan member is that their father was a Klan member. The Klan does not recruit well outside of the Klan, hence, its socio-politically inbred nature.

Donald Trump's father was a convicted Klansman, arrested in the late 1920s supporting a large Klan march in New York City. Whether or not Donald ever attended a cross-burning or joined in a lynching, he was raised within the ideology of the Ku Klux Klan.

But wait, you might say:
How do we know that the arrest of Fred Trump
was not an isolated event?

We have evidence that the Trump family believed in Klan Values for decades after Fred's arrest. The Trumps were charged with racial discrimination in housing practices in the 1970s and were penalized accordingly. The Donald openly denied during the campaign that his family was charged with not renting to black folks. Then he said that a lot of people were fined for the same crime at the same time. Then he went back to saying it never happened.

The elder Trump was also linked to organized crime (the "Mafia") by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

It should be no surprise to see Trump appointing one confirmed racist after another to his Presidential cabinet. It is also no surprise to see hate-crimes and other racially motivated actions reported nationwide in the days following the election.

Klansman know who their fellow Klansman are, even if the rest of us don't. The KKK knows "their guy" is heading into the White (Supremacist) House, and they are thrilled.
